Payment/Insurance
At Triumph Physical Therapy & Dry Needling it is our belief that limitations in your insurance should not lead to limitations in your care. Our cash-based, fee for service practice is out of network with all insurances which puts an emphasis on individualized, holistic wellness without the parameters that are determined by what insurance does or does not cover. Â If your insurance provides reimbursement for out-of-network physical therapy services, please let me know. Upon your request, I will provide you with a receipt that you may submit for the reimbursement.
This structure benefits you because it allows all therapy sessions to be one-on-one and without a doctors referral. Traditionally, insurance driven PT clinics require modifications to your regimen in order to maximize insurance reimbursement. For example, the therapist treats multiple patient’s at once, requires more therapy visits, offers shorter therapy sessions, and/or generalizes treatment; this ultimately costs you more time and more money (deductibles, copays, and co-insurance). The fee-for-service structure prevents all of these modifications, saves you time (less visits needed to get better), and for most people, will actually cost less than the average round of insurance-based PT.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
If you choose to take advantage of our fee-for-service option (which is not covered by insurance), you do NOT need a doctor's referral.
What is fee-for-service?
Fee-for-service physical therapy is focused on one thing: patient care. The traditional insurance-based structure requires treatment modification in order to maximize insurance reimbursement. For example, the therapist may treat multiple patients at once, require more therapy visits, offer shorter therapy sessions, and/or generalize treatment. Ultimately, this costs you more time and more money (deductibles, copays, and co-insurance).
The fee-for-service structure, on the other hand, allows the physical therapist to craft a treatment plan that is most effective for you — without having to work around insurance coverage and doctor's referrals. In the end, this more personalized plan will likely save you time and money when compared to the average round of insurance-based PT, as it will take fewer sessions to treat your injuries.

Post Operative Rehabilitation

Lymphedema
Excess fluids gather in the lymphatic system, which then moves around in the bloodstream, causing swelling. Physical therapists use Complete decongestive therapy (CDT) to reduce swelling and prevent future fluid buildup.

Sports Injuries
Specific types of sports injuries like stress fractures can be treated with appropriate recovery programs or prevention exercises for a safe and quick recovery.

Sciatica/Back and Neck Pain
Acute pain that comes on suddenly or chronic neck and back pain that lasts for months or years restrict normal functioning. Physical therapy eases pain and improves mobility.

Shoulder Pain/Impingement Syndrome
Pain associated in the shoulder from postural dysfunction or repetitive over usage.

Limited Range of Motion (ROM)
Too much stress due to the overuse of some parts of your body causes swelling or you feel tenderness in those areas. Rage of motion gets impeded, which can be revived with therapy. Likewise, physical therapy will achieve better extension or flexion.

Vertigo
Dizziness or lightheadedness is a general and frequent complaint of many people, leading to dangerous falls. Since physical therapy improves balance, vertigo can be treated.

Headaches
Migraine and tension-type headaches can lead to severe head or neck injury. A proper plan of care can be implemented to increase neck mobility and strengthen the upper back muscles.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Sitting at a computer all day leads to repetitive stress injuries. However, wrist injuries and pain can be subdued by changing your posture and performing stretches and exercises.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
This complex disorder causes debilitating tiredness that cannot be improved with rest. Physical therapists, together with doctors, formulate a treatment plan with endurance training tasks.

Joint Replacement
In a similar manner, post-operative care for surgical removal and replacement of hip or knee joint with an artificial joint (prosthesis) will certainly provide adequate knee relief from pain.

Ankle sprain
Twisting your ankle causes the ligaments that support it to get stretched and torn, leading to swollen and painful ankle. Moreover, ankle sprains can heal faster and you regain strength with good home exercises suggested by therapists.

Foot Fracture
A simple fall can lead to broken bones, closed, open, or compound fractures, as a result, your movement and independence will be affected. Depending on the severity of your pain and the fracture location, treatment will be prescribed.

Knee Ligament Injury
Bands of tissue on either side of the knee, known as ligaments, can be damaged with injuries occurring in contact sports or if hit strongly.
